$25 Singles Pot Games (Covers all 8 Games Pays 1:8) $40 Doubles Pot Games (Covers all 8 Games Pays 1:10) $10 Singles 8th Game Super Side Pot (Pays 1:8) $15 Optional Singles (Pays 1:8) $5 Singles Brackets. Brackets Run games 2-4 & 5-7 $10 Doubles Bracket. Brackets Run games 2-4 & 5-7 The dress code is casual. Jeans and T-shirts are ok. Cash only same day payout. The Tournament will consist of eight games of match play bowling. Teams will draw for their first game lane assignment. Standings will be determined by match play wins and secondly by total pinfall. Games 2 through 8 will be position rounds. No match may end in a tie. Both members of the Team will throw one ball at a full rack. The two shots combined will determine the winner of the match. The tiebreaker will be bowled on the lane that the Team played their 10th frame. Left lane will bowl first. If still tied after first tiebreaker additional tiebreakers will be required until tie is broken, the teams will alternate lanes after each tie breaker. Ron Case and Jerry Kennedy Hold On to Win Outlaw Doubles
Ron Case and Jerry Kennedy went 7 and 1 on route to taking home the Outlaw Doubles title and $900.00. Despite having the 5th best pinfall total of the day, they knocked down the right amount of pins when it counted. Their last opponents of the day Mike Ascuncion and Joe Petrovich, fell just a little short in the final match, but, finished with a 6 and 2 record and the second best record of the day. Darren Francisco and Chris Hillman had the best pinfall total of the day; finishing with a 5 and 3 record and a seventh place finish. In the "optimum" draw of the day Dan Patty and Travis Beasley finished with the lowest pinfall of all the cashers but managed to win 6 of their 8 matches to finish in sixth place. Rounding out the top 10 and last cashing spot were Matt Wohlar and Kevin Harlin with a 5 and 3 record with a +471 pinfall. In individual results, Dennis Horan shot 1988 to finish first in the singles event; followed close behind by Chris Hllman at 1973, followed even closer behind by Jerry Kennedy at 1969. Low tro cash in the singles event was Sam Carter with an 1898 pinfall. In outstanding effort news, Mike Ascunsion rolled a 300 game in the middle of his 801 series for the first 3 games, Rodney Garrick with his previously mention 300 in game 1, Joe Petrovich followed up is partner's 801 with an 801 of his own in games 4-6. High Doubles Game of the day went to Ceejee Godizano and Bobby Hiraoka with their 563 in game 7, Ceejee rolld a 284 with Bobby rolling a 279. All in all we had 80 bowlers roll eight games each, for a total of 7040 frames and 140,960 pins knocked down; and a total of $13,745 given out in brackets, side pots, and place monies.
